RH Bill: The Hottie and the Nottie

Pasok ang kanta.

Because I’d still say yes to you again. My Darlin’ for you, I do it all again.”

Maybe not all of them said it as sweet as the song goes. Some were not fucked in a way they wanted. Meron sigurong putol ang kuryente, walang tv, and out of boredome, sex. A young girl who did it out or curiosity or love, or a girl of age out of necessity, or the other way around.  Pero unless kaso ng rape, they’ve said yes sa kanilang partner.

For the sake of argument, alisin muna natin itong issue ng rape, dun muna tayo sa mga babaeng misinformed at nag give it to me yeah sa kanilang mga partner. Sa mga nag say yes.

Huwag naman nating sisihin ang RH Bill or the lack of it, sa death of these ladies mamaya, or the eleven more tomorrow and so on. RH Bill is just a bill. RH Bill is not a freeze gun. Among others.

RH Bill is not Abortion

Sinasabing this happened in other countries. Na-approve ang law similar to the RH Bill, then eventually, na-legalize na ang abortion. RH Bill is the first phase of abortion in those countries. And so? E di yung second phase ang tutulan at huwag ang first phase.

RH Bill is not the issue of the church

RH Bill is not leading to teenage pregnancy… and other complications

Of course not. Sex leads to teenage pregnancy… and other complications.

Ang issue talaga dito ay kung ang pag-e-educate sa mga kabataan regarding sex will make them more curious about sex and try it. Or will make them learned (like gagaling silang mag-english dahil iyun ang language of the learned) and will know how to practice it, including when and with whom.

Or, giving the kids ideas about contraceptives will make them use some. Among others.

Well, kayanin nila. Dahil sabi ng Nat Geo, Live curious.

If you … you breath,if you breath you talk,if you talk you ask,if you ask you think,if you think you search,if you search you experience,if you experience you learn,if you learn you grow,if you grow you wish,if you wish you find,and if you find you doubt,if you dobut you questioned,if you questioned you understand and if you understand you know,if you know you want to know more,and if you want to know more you are ALIVE!

But curiosity kills the cat. Well, this is complicated, pero kailangang gawin.

RH Bill is not a miracle that would save the lives of the eleven women who’ll die later and  tomorrow and so on.

Hindi ba nga sa batas, ignorantia juris non excusat or ignorantia legis neminem excusat (“ignorance of the law does not excuse” or “ignorance of the law excuses no one”). Ganun din siguro sa death. Ignorance of the death does not excuse. Alam naman nila ang pinapasok nila, or ang pumapasok sa kanila for that matter. Masama na siguro ako for having this opinion, pero they brought it to themselves, though i’m not talking about the women alone, but of their partners as well.

  • e. Reproductive Health Care -availability and access to a full range of methods, techniques and services that contribute to reproductive and sexual health and well-being by preventing and solving reproductive health-related problems in order to achieve enhancement, of life and personal relations. The elements of reproductive health care include:
      1. Maternal, infant and child health and nutrition;

2. Family planning information and services;

3. Prevention of abortion and management of post abortion complications;

4. Adolescent and youth health;

5. Prevention and management of reproductive tract infections (RTIs), HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmittable infections (STIs);

6. Elimination of violence against women;

7. Education and counseling on sexuality and sexual and reproductive health;

8. Treatment of breast: and reproductive tract cancers and other gynecological conditions;

9. Male involvement and participation in reproductive health;

10. Prevention and treatment of infertility and sexual dysfunction;

My mother is a Barangay Health Worker. And a witch as well. So for so long, hindi ito nagagawa? Such an abomination. Why would we need another bill for this? Or not?

For the moment nalilito ako sa aversion ko regarding the RH Bill. Pero nung binasa ko ulit yung bill, parang more than health concern, it is an issue of education. So kailangang budget-an.

Pero sige, I’ll be firm. I will still say no to RH Bill. Ganito na lang. Gusto nila mag-sex, mag-ingat sila, alamin nila kung paano mag-ingat, magtanong sila, get some education, Walang gustong sumagot? Magprotesta sila. Kung gusto nila ng edukasyon, demand for education for it’s their right, at kung hindi nila kaya mag demand, magtiis sila. Too much asa na ito.
